I wish I could say that my writing was spectacular, making me a millionaire or a celebrity of the printed word. I wish I could say that, but I can't. I write to share, to take dreams and drop them on the landscape of paper. I wrote at an early age, my paper was the blank page in the Readers Digest magazine because there was no extra paper available. Today my writing appears in personal journals, on scrap pieces of paper and in files stored electronically. It really does not matter how they appear, it only matters that the words flow - that they create and tell tales to turn the hearts to a safe place.

I am hopeful that you will find the same joy in writing that I do and submit a story of your own. The purpose of awomanswrites.com is to share experiences that will reach out to other girls and women, so let your stories blend into the rich tapestry of awomanswrites.com.

If you have a story within you, drop a line and tell me about yourself and your poem or story. If we determine it will benefit other readers, we will post it on the site. There will be some details to iron out as to reprint permission, but since this is not a commercial site to generate revenue, I am confident we can work out all the loose ends - together.
