Lady Road Warriors

I have been in sales for over twenty years and while it has been absolutely exhilarating; it has had its lonely moments. Several years ago, my husband Lou began writing small notes to tuck in my briefcase so that when I awoke in a motel room, I had a warm morning welcome. These notes often served as my "pat on the back" before I headed out the door or in to the boardroom for a sales presentation. He created a character called Grinnie to speak to me via a written message. Grinnie became my travel companion and source of road humor. He was joined later by Digger and Growler to serve as my guardians and motivators. I will periodically share words of wisdom of Grinnie, Digger and Growler so that other Lady Road Warriors may take these guardians with them. Just print them off and tuck them in your briefcase and your success will be gently shaded with humor…
